Queenstown offers a wide range of walking tracks and trails allowing guests of all levels of fitness to explore the incredible diversity of the region's geography, flora and fauna. Some of the short scenic walks start from Queenstown's town centre whilst the iconic Fiordland and Mount Aspiring national parks are within easy reach.

No visit to Queenstown is complete without seeing New Zealand's most-photographed lake. Exquisite mountain and lake vistas, a boardwalk protecting local wildlife, 100 year old walnut trees and a close-up view of some of the area's most notable homes.

This is the ultimate alpine adventure, weaving through meadows, reflective tarns and alpine gardens. You will be rewarded with spectacular vistas over vast mountain ranges and valleys.

Often called the "Finest walk in the world", it is one of the most popular of New Zealand's walks and as such, Milford Track is always on top of the bucket list of hiking lovers. Starting from Lake Te Anau you will walk through unspoiled rain forest and alpine tussock, past fiords and waterfalls - ending at the magnificent Milford Sound.
